Distractors are pulled from the same topic and matched for length — wrong answers will look just as plausible as the right one.
Mixed alternates standard multiple-choice with reverse questions ("which question is asking about this answer?") to keep your brain on its toes.
Timed, mixed-category, no immediate feedback. You'll get a full breakdown at the end so you can see which topics need more work.

This sample contains 15 hand-picked cards spanning the CSR Written categories. Quiz mode and the timed mock exam are locked here — the full version (now on Etsy, $30 one-time) includes 729 cards across all 12 categories plus Quiz and Mock Exam.
✓ Got It — You knew the answer. The card moves up one level in the spaced-repetition system. After 4+ correct streaks across multiple sessions, it counts as Mastered and won't show up daily.
✗ Missed It — You didn't know it. The card drops back to box 1 so it reappears soon. It also gets added to this session's "Missed" list (you can re-drill those at the end).
↷ Skip — No opinion right now. Doesn't change anything — just moves to the next card. Use this if you want to come back to a card without committing.
In Deck — How many cards are in your current filtered view (e.g., 38 cards in "Legal Terminology" when you filter to that category).
Mastered — Cards you've gotten right 4+ times in a row across multiple sessions. These are essentially burned into memory. You cannot master a card in one sitting — that's the whole point of spaced repetition.
Learning — Cards you've rated at least once (Got It or Missed It) but haven't mastered yet. These are actively being studied.
Due Now — Cards the system thinks you're about to forget, based on when you last got them right. The whole point of the algorithm is to bring these back at the perfect time.
Every card sits in one of 7 boxes (0 through 6). It starts in box 0 (never seen). Each Got It moves it forward one box. Each Missed It sends it back to box 1.
In this demo there are only 15 cards — enough to feel the loop, not enough to fully master the material. The full version on Etsy has 729 cards across all 12 categories; mastering them requires several weeks of consistent study, not one cram session.
All — Every card in the chosen category, in original order.
Due Now — Only cards the algorithm says are ready for review today. Use this every day for the most efficient studying.
Weak (low accuracy) — Cards you keep missing (under 70% accuracy after 2+ tries, not yet mastered). Drills your blind spots.
New (never seen) — Cards you haven't touched yet. Good for adding fresh material gradually.
The 🔥 streak in the nav increments each day you study (any session counts). Resets if you skip a full day. Consistency beats marathon sessions — 20 minutes daily beats 4 hours on Sunday.
Multiple choice with smart distractors — wrong answers come from the same topic and same answer-shape (statute → statute, term → term, article → article). No more giveaway distractors. After each question you see the explanation. Best for active recall practice.
Timed, no immediate feedback. Pick 25 (25 min) / 50 (45 min) / 100 (90 min) questions. You can flag questions for review and jump back via the navigator grid. End-of-exam breakdown shows your accuracy by category. Pass threshold in this app: 75% — the same bar set by the JBCC / TCRA for the real Texas CSR Written Exam (no dictionaries allowed).
All study progress is stored in your browser (no account, no cloud). To move to another device or browser, use Settings (⚙) → Export Progress on the old device and Import Progress on the new one. Clearing browser data — or, on iPhone, Safari purging the site — will wipe everything, so back up regularly.
